ABOUT

Susi London is of Scandinavian heritage and based in Berkshire. She studied 3D Design at Ravensbourne University London.  She has trodden various career paths including interior design, web design, teaching and illustration, before finding her passion for painting following a major illness around 15 years ago.

Her passion for landscape and nature is clear from her chosen subject matter which often includes woodland and shows her love and fascination for trees, which, in her words, are the life-source of our planet Earth and all life on it.

 

Susi also paints to express an idea or a feeling, and whilst trees and forests have continued to be a passion, her work can also be very emotive, particularly her more recent work. She is interested in light and its different emotional responses, as well as exploring composition, expression and abstraction in her art.

 

Susi is currently painting mainly in acrylics on canvas, but likes to explore other media and her style is constantly developing and evolving.
